Approx. 150 sqm
DESIGN INTENT
The brief was to create a generous, design-led outdoor space that felt like a natural extension of the recently renovated rear extension. The clients wanted a garden that could be used for entertaining, was beautiful in all seasons, and required minimal maintenance.
KEY FEATURES
Large limestone terrace with generous seating area
Integrated LED lighting throughout — uplighting, path lighting and canopy lighting
Bespoke timber pergola with climbing plants
Raised planting beds with layered perennial scheme
Concealed storage and utility area
PLANTING APPROACH
A layered planting scheme using structural evergreens as a backbone, with seasonal perennials providing colour and movement from spring through to late autumn. The palette is restrained — greens, silvers and soft whites — allowing the architecture of the garden to remain the primary focus.
