A Small, Secluded City Garden with Tropical Planting

This compact city garden in Ealing was redesigned to transform a previously underused outdoor space into a secluded retreat that responds directly to the house's architecture and the clients’ desire for privacy, immersion and calm.

Despite its limited footprint, the garden required careful planning to create depth, enclosure and a sense of escape, while remaining functional and well balanced.
