A Contemporary Courtyard Surrounded by Abundant Planting

This courtyard garden in Teddington was redesigned following the addition of a contemporary kitchen extension, creating a calm, plant-led outdoor space that could be enjoyed both from within the home and as a place to sit and relax.

Although the garden needed to be low maintenance, the clients wanted to feel surrounded by planting and experience a sense of seclusion despite the relatively compact footprint

Wide shot of this courtyard garden where raised beds and abundant planting soften the contemporary lines of the clients’ home extension.
